About Us
Our Story
R5 Drywall Studio was built on experience gained in Alaska and in Flathead Valley home construction, where we got to know local material suppliers and learned everything from batt and blown-in insulation to wood finishing and painting.
We started this company to meet a real need in the area: drywall service delivered by a team with a genuine work ethic, personalized customer service, fast turnaround, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
That commitment is what built R5 Drywall Studio — and it’s still what drives every project we take on today, from Kalispell to Libby.
Rob Escamilla
Founder / Owner
Rob was born in El Salvador and trained as an architect, leading store designs and commercial construction across Central America. Eight years ago, he moved to Alaska with his wife and three children to start over — from concrete flooring to drywall to home construction. That path led him to Montana, where he founded R5 Drywall Studio, combining an architect’s vision with hands-on discipline.
